God has the plan for you
God’s plan for you is peace with Him and everlasting life for every man. John 3:16: “God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. ”
Man’s problem – separation from God
Peace with God is not automation, because people are naturally separated from God. Rom. 3:23: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”.
God’s solution – The Cross
God’s love and the death of Jesus on the cross are the bridge over the gap between God and man. Jesus has suffered the penalty of our sin. 1 Peter 2:24: “Who his own self bore our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live to righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.”
Receiving Jesus
You’ll be a member of God’s family when you receive Jesus and invite him into your life. John 1:12: “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.”
It is never too late to take the decisive step
1. Confess your spiritual need: “I am a sinner.”
2. Make the decision to turn away from sin.
3. Believe that Jesus has died for you on the cross.
4. Receive Jesus into your life through prayer.
Bible says: Rev 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” and Romans 10:13 “For whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
Pray:
“Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I’m a sinner
and that I need forgiveness from you.
I believe that you died for my sin.
I invite you into my hearth and life now.
I put my trust in you as my Saviour
and want to follow you as my Lord.
In Jesus’ name, Amen”.
